Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run your account and alerts. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use tracking cookies. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and password. Passwords are stored as a one-way hash by our database provider; we never see your actual password.
- What you save: your price alerts (coin, direction, price, and when one triggered), your watchlist, and whether you want email alerts.
- Notification details: if you turn on push alerts, your browser gives us a delivery address for that device. It identifies the device's notification channel, not you personally.
- Technical data: our hosting and database providers automatically log basic request information such as IP addresses and browser type, for security and to keep the service running.
- On your device: we store small settings in your browser, like the last coin and timeframe you viewed and your sign-in session. These are not used for tracking or advertising.
What we use it for
To run your account, save your alerts and watchlist, check prices and send you the alerts you asked for, send account emails such as password resets, keep the service secure, and fix problems. We don't use your data for advertising or sell it to anyone.
Who else handles it
We use a few service providers, who only process data to provide their service to us:
- Supabase: accounts, database and the scheduled alert checker. Your account data is stored in Supabase's Tokyo, Japan region.
- GitHub Pages: hosts the website files.
- Coinbase: your browser loads prices directly from Coinbase's public market data, so Coinbase sees your IP address when you use the charts.
- Push services run by your browser maker (such as Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft): deliver push notifications to your device.
- Resend: sends alert emails, if you have email alerts turned on.
- Shopify: manages our domain name.
Because these providers operate in different countries, your data may be processed outside the country you live in.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data until you delete your account. When you delete it, your account, alerts, watchlist, notification settings and device delivery addresses are deleted immediately. Copies may remain in our providers' backups or logs for a short time before they are automatically removed.
Your choices and rights
- Turn push or email alerts off at any time from the alerts panel, or turn notifications off in your browser.
- Delete your account and data at any time from Account → Delete account.
- Email us to ask what data we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask any privacy question. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The service is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy in a significant way, we'll tell you on the site or by email before the change takes effect.
